In the field of international economic law, our research focuses on WTO law and bilateral and regional trade agreements, particularly those involving Switzerland. In the field of European law, we focus primarily on the law governing the European Union’s external relations, especially its external economic relations as well as constitutional law and internal market law.

In addition, we work closely with the World Trade Institute, with which we do more than just share office space: the director of the IEW also serves as director of the World Trade Institute.
